Matrix Cubes

Matrix Cubes function as a relic-type item and are equipped as part of the player's wargear, granting a passive stat boost. All Matrix Cubes have a level requirement, and naturally higher-level cubes provide greater boosts to stats.

There are 4 known level tiers of Matrix Cubes, those being 15, 24, 32 & 50.

Obtaining Matrix Cubes

Simply put, you cannot buy them as they're BoP, so you need to craft them for yourself. Don't worry though, you don't need to pick up any crafting skills for this one!

A single Matrix Cube consists of Three components, each one a Matrix Shard. When you have sufficient Matrix Shards to craft a cube, travel to your capitol planet (That's Dromund Kaas for us folks, located near the Dark Temple @ -1828, 500). There you will find a Matrix Assembler/Disassembler.

The Assembler is straight forward enough. You insert Three matrix shards in whatever color combination you want and assemble it into a matrix cube. The Disassembler is slightly less simple, as it requires a power core for each separate use. These power cores can only be obtained from specific vendors
